- Included Jumper offers option of using receiver power
- Allows fine tuning of 8 servos on non-critical controls (bomb drops, lights, winches, gear, etc.)
Overview
The X-Plus 8 module is designed to allow expansion of up to 8 servos for non-control surface functions such as bomb drops, lights, winches, retractable landing gear, and many more. The X-Plus 8 is compatible with Spektrum™ X-Plus transmitters and receivers. The X-Plus 8 module offers the option to power the connected servos via dual auxiliary battery ports with separate batteries and switch harnesses (sold separately) independent of the receiver. The X-Plus 8 module can also be powered inclusive of the receiver by using the included jumper through either of the dual BATT/JMPR ports.
Applications
Scale modelers with complex aircraft, ships, or surface applications will enjoy the easy programming and functions of the X-Plus 8 module using X-Plus compatible transmitters AirWare™ software. Modelers will be able to select 2 position, 3 position or potentiometer adjustment through their X-Plus transmitter. After selecting the specific switch or port, AirWare software will allow the individual servo adjustment of each X-Plus channel‘s travel adjust, sub trim, reversing, and speed.
The Spektrum P-SPMXP8000 X-Plus8 expansion module with 8-channel servo control and dual battery input is a compact, programmable solution for scale RC modelers seeking to manage auxiliary functions like bomb drops, retractable gear, lighting systems, and winches. Designed for non-critical servo operations, this module integrates seamlessly with Spektrum X-Plus transmitters and receivers, offering precise control via AirWare™ software. With support for 2-position, 3-position, and potentiometer switch modes, each channel can be individually fine-tuned for travel, sub trim, reversing, and speed—making it ideal for complex aircraft, ships, and surface vehicles.

Why is the Spektrum P-SPMXP8000 ideal for scale RC applications?
The Spektrum P-SPMXP8000 receiver-powered servo expander for lights, gear, winches, and auxiliary functions is purpose-built for modelers who require precise control over non-flight-critical systems. Whether you're outfitting a scale aircraft with retractable landing gear or adding functional lighting to a ship or surface model, this module provides the flexibility and reliability needed to manage complex setups. Its compact form factor and dual power options make it easy to install and configure without compromising space or performance.
How does AirWare™ software enhance programming?
The Spektrum programmable module with AirWare interface and fine-tuning for non-critical servos allows users to configure each of the 8 channels directly from their X-Plus compatible transmitter. Through AirWare™, modelers can assign switches, define movement ranges, reverse servo direction, and adjust speed—all without external programming tools. This streamlined interface simplifies setup and enables real-time adjustments to match mission-specific needs.
What power options are available?
The Spektrum P-SPMXP8000 with 3.5–9.6V input range, 11.9g weight, and 41mm × 23mm × 20mm compact housing offers two flexible power configurations. Users can power the module via dual auxiliary battery ports using separate batteries and switch harnesses (sold separately), or opt for receiver-powered operation using the included jumper. This versatility ensures compatibility with a wide range of RC platforms and power setups.
What types of functions can this module control?
The servo expansion module for scale aircraft, ships, and surface models with 2/3-position and potentiometer modes is ideal for managing non-critical systems such as bomb drops, winches, retractable gear, and lighting. Each channel supports independent configuration, allowing modelers to tailor servo behavior to specific tasks. Whether you're building a warbird with functional payloads or a scale ship with animated features, the X-Plus8 module delivers precision and control.
